How it works

  1. Choose a tree

A younger sugar maple, or a Heritage Maple that is 80 years old or more.

  2. We tag it with their name

Our sugar maker hangs a tag with the name you choose on the tree, then photographs it for the certificate.

  3. Two deliveries

A maple gift box in December. A harvest box in spring, once the season’s syrup is made.

Questions

When does it arrive?

Order by [DATE] and the December box arrives in December. The spring harvest box ships in [month] 2027, after the sugaring season.

Is the tree real?

Yes. It is a real sugar maple at our partner sugar bush [in REGION]. It gets a tag with the name you choose, and you receive its photo. In spring its sap is collected and boiled with the rest of the sugar bush’s sap, so your harvest syrup comes from the same sugar bush and the same season as your tree.

Can I visit my tree?

[Describe your visit policy, for example open days during sugaring season or visits by appointment.]

Where do you ship, and what does it cost?

We ship within Canada only. Shipping costs [price, or free over a set amount]. [Note any surcharge for remote areas.]

Can I add a gift message?

Yes. Before checkout, enter the name for the tree tag and your gift message. To ship straight to the recipient, enter their address as the shipping address at checkout. [Confirm that no prices are included in the box.]

What if a bottle breaks, or I want a refund?

If a bottle arrives broken, send us a photo within [7] days and we’ll replace it. Refunds: [your refund policy for pre-orders].

What about allergens?

The syrup, maple cream and candies are made from maple syrup. [Confirm with your producer whether the products are made in a facility that also handles nuts, dairy or gluten.] The pancake mix add-on has its own ingredient list, so check its label.

Up to 28 characters, exactly as it should appear on the tag.
Included in the December box.

You’ll pay on a secure checkout page. Your tag name and message are saved with your order.
